Hi there! 👋 I'm Snow Lee ( 李雪城 ) — backend engineer by day, poet and code tinkerer by night. Welcome to my little corner of the internet where technical documentation meets seasonal poetry.
What I Do 💻
I'm a backend engineer who loves building reliable, scalable systems. My days are spent architecting APIs, optimizing database queries, and occasionally debugging production issues at 3 AM (the joys of distributed systems! 😅).
But I'm not just about the backend — I enjoy crafting clean, minimalist user interfaces too. There's something deeply satisfying about bridging the gap between server logic and what users actually see.

Beyond Code ✨
When I'm not writing code, I'm probably writing poetry. 📝 There's something poetic about both — the rhythm of a well-structured function mirrors the cadence of a good verse. I find beauty in constraints, whether it's a haiku's syllable count or a microservice's single responsibility.
I'm also experimenting with AI tools to augment my creative and technical workflows. GPT-4 is my brainstorming buddy, GitHub Copilot is my pair programming partner, and Midjourney helps me visualize ideas when words aren't enough. 🤖
This blog is my personal playground — a space to document technical learnings, share seasonal poems, and occasionally rant about tabs vs. spaces (it's spaces, obviously).
Random Facts 🎲
- ❄ I named this blog "Snow" because I love the quiet stillness of winter mornings
- ❄ My go-to debugging method? Rubber duck debugging with an actual rubber duck 🦆
- ❄ I believe good design is invisible — the best interfaces feel effortless
- ❄ My favorite commit message: "it works, don't ask why" (kidding... mostly 😬)
